General Fandom Update

So, during October instead of #inktober a lot of people are doing a lot of other art (as well as writing) challenges and two that I’ve seen that are relevant to the She-Ra fandom are #catratober and #Entrapdak Month or #Entrapdak Positivity Month. There’s a lot of cool art that’s being created at the moment, so check out those tags if you’re interested.

Also, Noelle Stevenson’s comic book Lumberjanes is being adapted into an animated sseries by HBO Max. You can read about it on the Hollywood Reporter

Also, a new fandom zine is in the works: Best Friend Squad Wedding Zine, a zine depicting catradora and glimbow’s weddings. You can find more information at their socials: best-friend-squad-wedding BFSquadwedding as well as their Carrd. Currently contributor applications for artists and writers are open until November 1st. And, I’m not familiar with any of the mod team’s previous project but they list their experience and seem to have a lot of success so that’s exciting and gives me hope for this project! I only have one physical zine and I’d love to add another to my collection.
